Painted in 2020

With the pandemic, I had more time available for painting in 2020, especially for the first part the year before we got our new kittens. I didn’t always have the motivation to paint, but I did end up with a lot of new models painted this year.

Back at the beginning of the year, my goals were to paint a new Space Wolves army up to at least 1500 points and to paint my Sector Mechanicus terrain. I accomplished both of those goals. I also painted some new models for my Craftworlds army and some of the Indomitus models to add to my Necrons.

After picking up Frostgrave for free at the beginning of lockdowns, I ended up getting and painting a lot of new miniatures for it. They were a nice change from my normal Warhammer 40,000 painting.

I also painted a small number of miniatures I’ve had sitting around for Super Dungeon Explore and at the very end of the year, I started painting some mechs from the BattleTech Introductory Box that I’ve had for several years.

I also greatly expanded the display case capacity in my game room to have room for all of these miniatures. If I keep painting at this pace though, I’m going to run out of space for miniatures again in the not too distant future.
