A couple of years ago I started working on an idea to use the Dragon Age RPG to run games set in the world of the Diablo computer games. I wrote a few posts on Dragon Age Oracle covering the idea, but then I was distracted by other things and didn’t do much work on the idea for a while. I recently started to work on it some more and have added a good amount of new stuff compared to what was in the old posts.
While I still plan to write more material, I have enough in the current draft that I want to start sharing it. You can view the current version here. If you read through it, please let me know if you have any feedback.
EDIT 25 May 2020: The old Dragon Age version of this Age of Terror is no longer available, but there is a newer Fantasy Age version if you check the most recent posts tagged Fantasy Age. Dragon Age Oracle is also no longer online.

[…] One important change for spellcasting that I’m making is that rather than using the schools of magic from Dragon Age, I’ll instead be grouping spells into theme-based lores of magic. For example, some of the lores that I’m planning are Flames, Frost, Life, Death, and Storms. This is a similar approach to what I’ve used for my Diablo-themed Age of Terror. […]
Wow, you have done some serious work there.
Well, fantastic work. I don’t know if I will play with this stuff, however I steal it for sure. Also, it was a nice move to create the “rogue archer”.
[…] started work on modifying the Dragon Age RPG to run a campaign set in the world of Diablo years ago (apparently 7 years ago…). I never managed to run the campaign, but I had a lot of […]
