I’ve decided to collect an Eldar army for Warhammer 40k. One of the reasons that I ended up picking Eldar was because I think it will be a lot of fun to paint a variety of aspect warrior squads, each with their own color schemes. I’ve already finished painting a squad of striking scorpions and just picked up some guardians and dire avengers earlier this week.
So far I’m just planning out 500 points worth of units to let me play some small skirmish games. I should be able to trim down my old space marines and dark eldar armies to 500 point lists too and play a couple small games against my wife to get used to the rules (it has been almost a decade since I’ve played much).
500 Point Army List
HQ
- Autarch w/ mandiblasters, scorpion chainsword, fusion gun – 95 pts
Elites
- Striking Scorpions 5 + exarch w/ scorpion’s claw, shadowstrike – 143 pts
Troops
- Dire Avengers 9 + exarch w/ two shuriken catapults, bladestorm, defend – 167 pts
- Guardians 10 w/ scatter laser – 95 pts
